Safety system products and services experts Ventilux are experiencing a rapid period of growth as they enter their fifth decade in business.

Having over 1,000 + years of combined experience to date, Ventilux has been able to build on its heritage as a family-based company.

The company – an internationally recognised brand has been passed down through different generations and is driven forward uniquely by a family of four brothers. With its head office in Co. Wicklow, Ireland, Ventilux now boasts more than 500 products across its portfolio, which are manufactured at its 35,000 sq. ft state-of-the-art production facilities.

The company’s range now includes Emergency Lighting, Central Battery Systems, Luminaire Conversion Equipment, Emergency Lighting Commissioning, Service and Maintenance. More than 20 of these solutions are 3rd Party Certified Products.

From modest beginnings, Ventilux now has over 60 employees, and the business operates in over 24 countries globally. This is evidenced through its international project successes, including Facebook HQ in Ireland, a number of schools in Qatar and the Athens Concert Hall.

2024 has seen a significant uplift in Ventilux’s client base, with an increasing number of sales outside of the UK and Ireland. This has contributed to the growth of the business, enabling them to add more solutions to their portfolio and grow the team.

This has been further reflected in the services side of the business, with Ventilux offering an extensive range of support. This includes product and lighting design, commissioning and lifetime maintenance.

Marcus Walsh, Director at Ventilux said: “To look back at what we have achieved so far is phenomenal. We’ve taken the company from a small enterprise to a growing solutions provider which is internationally recognised, and this is a testament to our hard work and tenacity.

“Our solutions provide a wide range of support for engineers and contractors and fulfil many areas of their work. We are continually looking for ways to support our clients further, which is a big part of our growth and increase in demand.”

Ian Walsh, Group Managing Director at Ventilux added: “As we head towards our fifth decade in business, it’s brilliant to be experiencing this development firsthand. We have exciting plans for the future which include expanding our export market, with a view to reaching even further afield globally.”
