Magnetic Design and Rechargeable Tables
At the Renzo Serafini booth during Euroluce 2025, Richard Klapper of Designplan Lighting introduced me to a stunning lineup of new products. The designs stood out for their elegant craftsmanship and inventive features. In a show filled with Italian artistry, Serafini’s work still managed to shine.
Many fixtures were made from brass or steel, finished with care and precision. The attention to detail was remarkable. Several products were rechargeable—not just the table lamps, but the tables themselves. “Yes, rechargeable tables,” Richard said with a grin as he demonstrated a sleek metal side table with an integrated, removable light.

The light snaps to the table magnetically and is chargeable “It’s a solid magnet,” I said, after testing the attachment. The set, which includes both table and lamp, is also available in wood.
A Line for Cord-Free Living
This collection is part of Serafini’s growing line of rechargeable lighting. The cable-free functionality makes it perfect for hospitality environments or high-end residences seeking a clean, minimalist aesthetic.
A Glimpse at What’s Next: The “Soluzioni” Collection
Richard also shared a sneak peek of a prototype from Serafini’s new “Soluzioni” collection. The modular system features snap-together, track-mounted fixtures. Although still in development, the concept looks flexible and refined. Its strong visual identity suggests it will make an impact when released.
Form, Function, and the Future
Renzo Serafini’s booth wasn’t just about style—it was about redefining what lighting can be. The emphasis on modularity and sustainability, paired with high-quality Italian materials, made this one of the standout exhibits at Euroluce 2025.
